Oral-3D: Reconstructing the 3D Structure of Oral Cavity from Panoramic X-ray

چکیده
Panoramic X-ray (PX) provides a 2D picture of the patient's mouth in panoramic view to help dentists observe invisible disease inside gum. However, it limited information compared with cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), another dental imaging method that generates 3D oral cavity but more radiation dose and higher price. Consequently, is great interest reconstruct structure from image, which can greatly explore application surgeries. In this paper, we propose framework, named Oral-3D, single PX image prior arch. Specifically, first train generative model learn cross-dimension transformation 3D. Then restore shape deformation module arch curve, be obtained simply by taking photo mouth. To noted, Oral-3D both density bony tissues curved mandible surface. Experimental results show efficiently effectively critical clinical applications, e.g., tooth pulling implants. best our knowledge, are domain problem between these two methods.

Reactive Hyperplastic Lesions of the Oral Cavity
Introduction: Peripheral reactive lesions of soft tissue are common oral lesions that dentists face during routine examinations. Diagnosis and development of a treatment plan is difficult if dentists are not aware of the prevalence and clinical symptoms of these lesions. The frequency of these lesions differs across various populations. The aim of this study was to determine the frequency and d...
متن کاملOral Submucous Fibrosis: A Chronic Deliberating Disease of Oral Cavity
Oral submucous fibrosis is chronic progressive condition of oral cavity. The condition is well recognized for its malignant potential. Usually the disease initiates with redness, blistering, and ulceration inside the mouth. It is characterized by progressive fibrosis of submucosal tissue. The pathogenesis of oral submucous fibrosis is not well understood. Betelquid chewing is the major etiologi...
متن کاملDosimetry of Occupational Radiation around Panoramic X-ray Apparatus
Background: Panoramic imaging is one of the most common imaging methods in dentistry. Regarding the side-effects of ionizing radiation, it is necessary to survey different aspects and details of panoramic imaging. In this study, we compared the absorbed x-ray dose around two panoramic x-ray units: PM 2002 CC Proline (Planmeca, Helsinki, Finland) and Cranex Tome (Soredex, Helsinki, Finland).<br ...
